"NANNP Corner," a regular section of NANN Central, NANN's print newsletter, features articles and information on a variety of advanced practice nursing issues, as do items in NANN E-News, NANN's bimonthly electronic newsletter. Other publications include position statements, the Education Standards and Curriculum Guidelines for Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Programs, and information on the Doctor of Nursing Practice degree.
Like many in the healthcare profession, NNPs face daily challenges. NANNP has developed a variety of free and affordable resources to equip NNPs to meet these challenges with increased knowledge and confidence.
NANNP is the national voice representing NNPs on issues in neonatal advanced practice nursing. Through formal representation in the LACE (Licensure, Accreditation, Certification, and Education) Work Group, the APRN Alliance, the AAP Perinatal Section Board of Directors, the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on the Fetus and Newborn, and other organizations, NANN and NANNP are working to ensure that neonatal advanced practice nurses are represented at the tables where national policy and standards are being developed.
